Nourhan is currently studying with Robert P. Gray art therapy diploma and certification at the College of Educational and Clinical art therapy in Australia. Although she is trained in multiple modalities of evidence-based psychotherapy.
She believes that every single client is unique, thus they need one-of-a-kind integration of different modules of therapy. She works with an eclectic approach. She uses CBT, EFT, and arts in therapy along with other modalities. She prefers to adopt a holistic technique as the client needs to be understood as a whole rather than focusing on one aspect. She believes that, as a therapist, she has to always incorporate research into her therapy. She is also keen to use a humanistic approach, where she can create a nonjudgmental and safe space for her clients. She also incorporates mindfulness-based cognitive therapying some of her sessions. This ensures a secure environment for the clients.
Nourhan deals with clients who are struggling with adjustment, self-esteem, body image, emotional eating, anxiety, social anxiety, academic stress, separation, and depression. She conducts sessions in Arabic and English. Finally, Nourhan believes that we all have our healers inside and that every client is the expert of their experiences, sometimes we just need the guidance and the tools to find our inner healer and this is where she comes and helps through the process.
